X-Seal for emergency car repairs - radiator leak stopped

Car number 66, a Jaguar XK120 participant in the Peking to Paris 2013 rally, and driven by Albert Bessudo and Bernard Joanin used X-Seal Acrylic-120C to stem a radiator leak.

The Rally commenced on the 29th May 2013, please see the drivers log below:

June 6th - "large leak on radiator. Clogged with 'magical' product and able to take to the road to next destination."

June 20th - "New small leak, we plugged with 'miracle' product. It seemed to hold. Until when?"

June 21st - "Having traveled a distance of 6,416km from the time of miracle repair, a pool of water was found under the car last night and proved that the leak from the radiator was much larger than first thought and that 'miracle' product had its limits".

June 29th - Rally finishes.

The magical / miracle product mentioned was infact X-Seal Acrylic 120C.  The leak was plugged with cotton wool, saturated in Acrylic 120C and held in place for a few minutes to cure.  Once cured the leak was completely plugged and gave an incredible 6,416km.

X-Seal Acrylic 120C is an invisible self penetrating acrylic sealant which can be used for car body and windows, engine block sealing, radiator leak repairs, burst hose sealing and is resistant to fuel, oil, antifreeze and brake fluid.
